The Central Market

Love this market, its colors and people. It's a senses overload. The vendors were so humble that they would insist on giving me the change back even when I told them not to.

Gotta love the local produce, fresh vegetables, herbs and aromatics, meats, live poultry, eggs, fish, jellyfish, sea cucumber, local crabs, snails, large prawns, fruits, baked or steamed goods, dried goods, curry paste, toys, clothing, sarung, etc. Too bad the local fruits like durian and rambutans were not in season.

Can't forget the food stalls on the second floor either. Some of the best food in town are served here. It's the place where I like to spend my early mornings when I'm back in my hometown to people watch, eat and buy stuff that I've not seen in a while.

Missed these midin. A little bit of red chili and a splash of cooking wine is the way to go.
